Back in June I was invited to play in Detroit at a weekly called “Comfort Food” at the Grasshopper Underground, where I was fortunate enough to meet some of the scenes protagonists, including long time soundman Satta Don Dada, a hero of the Detroit underground and co-owner of the “Foundation Channel”, which recently celebrated their first release with 13 original productions from some of my favorite artists (Roommate, and Celt Islam for example)! So when he asked me if I’d like to do a guest mix for the label I didn’t hesitate to accept!
