DJ DIMDOZ started to spin vinyl in 2005 and was the first DJ in Belarus to promote the ragga-jungle/dubwise sound. Right from the start Dimdoz smashed it by dropping records with positive vibes and heavy dancehall influences; easily winning over Minsk dancefloors with his fresh sound.
In January, 2005 Dimdoz formed the first selector crew in Belarus : RIDDIM ASSASSINS SOUNDSYSTEM with DJ GIPS & DJ FIREandASH.
Dimdoz has become a high-demand performer all over the Old Russian Federation. During the last 2 years he has played numerous events in Belarus, as well as headlining in Germany, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, and Lithuania.
In January, 2007 Dimdoz organized and supported DJ RCOLA’s (CANADA) WIKKID RIDDIM TOUR; RCola’s first visit to Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. It was on that highly successful tour that RCola made him the region’s JungleX Selectah.
Following that tour, Dimdoz was inspired to launch his online mix project: VIBE STEPPAZ; a monthly series dedicated to promoting the dubwise sound. Filled with exclusive music and forthcoming releases from producers all over the world, the “VIBE STEPPAZ” mix series has been instrumental in growing the JungleX vinyl ordering network in from the Baltics to Black Sea.
