A big Dj outa London is in the town. His name Nicky Blackmarket.
Nickys DJ-Sets are marked by improvisation and variety. He said that this is the result through the education and the background in jazz of his mother. He started to play electro in some london youth clubs when he was 14 years old and a little bit later he started to play house music as well.In this time he had some gigs in some radioshows like “Friends FM”. In the early 90’s he founded his own recordshop “Blackmarket Records” in London and he was setup a special recordsection for the growing breakbeat scene in the basement of his shop. In the mid 90’s he managed a continuous radioshow on “Pulse FM” and regular DJ happenings at “Roller Express”. Furthermore he released his first Drum’n'Bass record “SPAM EP” on his own label “Gyroscope”. His own productions are still an intermezzo. In contrast of that he promote other artists like Ray Keith on his Label.
