About Osci

With a plethora of releases under his belt, Osci is not only a talented producer and DJ, he is also the promoter and organizer of Konkrete Jungle Austria. Thru this, he has booked and played with music artists such as Congo Natty, Remarc, Capital J, General Malice, DJ K, Bizzy B, Bong-Ra, Demolition Man and Mad Dem Sound to name a few! Not only this, but within the last 3 years, he has played over 100 shows within Russia, Slovakia, Germany, and Austria. To say the least, this is a very passionate and musically driven individual.

Fuck Da Bomboclaat Police is a hard Amen smasher remixing Rage’s interpretation of Fuck The Police brought originally by NWA in 1988. This remix has been proven to make dance floors explode with its high energy Amens and old school bassline. An awesome display of drum work throughout this whole track. (insert taken from KMag), where it was voted one of the top ragga-jungle choons of 2009!

Since the early 1990’s, D.I.S’s energy and focus was fixtated on electronic music, mainly the hardcore techno movement, although he was looking for more diversion in sound and style. He came across the digital hardcore movement in late 95.
Through this high energetic music movement, he became more & more inspired by dub, reggae & dancehall music. Thus resulting in his own movement into jungle music in 1997. At this point, his mission to spread out the jamaican vibe thru the dancehalls and ravers hearts began.
D.I.S. is one member of the Ruff-e-Nuff crew outta Chemnitz. He is also a member of the Jungle Lion Sound beside Base & Dj Derrick (both ulan-bator). He is one of the most well known ragga jungle djs from the central german region Saxony. As a DJ, his style is a heart grabbing mixture of selected jungle blends. Always correct, right on time and sensible. Thats what you need – a limb movin selector.

As one of the early Midwest producers/djs of ragga and jungle, Ragga Scum (Scenefucker) has topped cities all around North America, following suit behind ground breakers such as Evol Intent and Twinhooker. Some of his recent production, including ‘Another Champion’ (Hum Fi Drum 006), has become staples to world ranking dj’s around the globe. With label support from Warlord, BadDog Jungle, Bludclot, and Hum Fi Drum, the Kansas City phenomenon is only bound to spread. Further support is provided by the Konkrete Jungle Fam worldwide, Knowledge Mag, SelfDest Clothing, and the bad boys of M.I.A. (Murda in America).

With over 20 years of musical experience Ragga Scum has gone from band outcast to one of the top stateside artists in drum and bass. Growing up on Long Island, NY has paved the way for his musical tastes to mature on locals such as Biz Markie, Wu-Tang, Biohazard, and Africa Bambaataa. The 31 year old owner of Warlord Dubplate and Kaiser has been conquering cities all over, headlining alongside artists such as Calyx, Gremlinz, Starscream (Spilknot), Evol Intent, Annalyze (Lady Sovereign), Danny the Wildchild, Swamp (Beck), Spor, Murderbot, 0=0, Evol Intent, and Jae Kennedy.

Ragga Scum is currently working on new tracks with Twinhooker, Direct Feed, DMD, and a few others. His latest tune “Dem Ting Fi Dem” is set to release on Clashplate Sound 002 this winter. Also set to drop is “8Ball” on the Warlord as well as future releases on Mos-Hi, BadDog Jungle, Hum Fi Drum, Dubpride, and a new Bludclot EP coming later in 2010. Also look for Ragga Scum in Ontario, Canada as a headlining resident for FML Friday’s with Capital J, RCola, and Krinjah.
