About:I was introduced to jungle originally in 1994. Sounds like that of Shy FX and Gunsmoke, T Power, Junior Dan, and so on. Moonshine’s release Law of the Jungle was released in 94 and I was hooked. It wasn’t until 95 at my first rave underneath a clothing factory that I understood the role of the DJ. It was well wikkid. Drum N Bass, then the Ragga Jungle Sets. Shit was sick man. I Moved to florida and started going to alot of raves and house parties. Definately good times. This is where I met my boy T.J. He introduced me to all forms of jungle and drum n bass. Taught me how to mix n blend, scratch, juggle n such. Now remember this is back when I was jammin my Gemini XL500’s. One of em had a margarita spilled in the pitch adj. so you had to blow in it from time to time and hope it held tempo haha. Still I dealt with it to the best of my abilities and eventually I could afford Technics. That’s when I started Dj’ing for ‘real’. buying up records like it was crack man. all the oldschool I could find. I met Screwface at one of the club events and gave him a demo. He listened and liked what I did. I played alot of events with him and Jungle Bastard. Free raves, clubs, and house parties. Now, I didn’t know this but while I was playing people’s music, Jake (Mr. Sensi), my brother, was making his own jungle. He is the one that got me producing in the first place. Kept pushing me to make my own tracks to play instead of everyone else’s. At the time of this writing I now have released on 3 different record labels, Mos-Hi being the first, Nuff Stylz, and my record label Ruffah Ras. Things seem to be going great and basically I owe it to my boys and my brother for pushing me to the level I’m at now. Big up all Junglist people for keeping this sound alive! Much respect owed to Jahba, Dub, Eskimo, Twinhooker, Paulie Walnuts, Human?, Malice, Mr. Sensi, Mainframe and everyone else for the love n support in my sound.
